Concealed Carry Training Local & Online Classes Everywhere
South Carolina issues concealed carry permits through the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, or SLED. To apply for an SC concealed carry permit, you must be an adult eligible to own a firearm who has completed the adequate amount of training. Securing your SC concealed carry permit not only allows you to carry within the state, but in other states that have reciprocity agreements with South Carolina as well.
Concealed Coalition is proud to be at the forefront of the firearms training space. We provide online and in-person courses (depending on the state) across the U.S. because we understand what a big responsibility it is to carry a firearm.
Each Concealed Coalition always covers the basics of responsible firearm ownership – safe handling, storage, and usage. Our certified trainers teach proper loading and unloading techniques, as well as how to reduce the risk of accidents and injuries. They utilize situational awareness training while teaching, drawing from their own experiences in law enforcement and the firearms space to create a more engaging, memorable class experience.
Our courses also cover the legal aspect of carrying a concealed weapon, as SC concealed carry permit applicants should be well-versed in relevant state firearm laws and regulations. This includes where carrying is allowed, potential prohibited locations for carrying, use-of-force guidelines, and how to interact with law enforcement as a carrier.
Finally, we want to help students build confidence and competence as permit holders. By arming our students with firearms safety knowledge and SC state laws while building critical thinking skills through experiential learning, we hope to create a nationwide coalition of firearm owners who feel confident in their abilities to protect what matters most in their lives.
But don’t just take it from us – here’s a 5-star review from one of our students in South Carolina:
“The instructor was knowledgeable and experienced in the class instruction as well as the rules of law that apply for the state of SC and a few others, which was very helpful. I would recommend this training to anyone who is interested in CWP” -Lanard A.
